    Focus and Scope

    Jurnal 7 Samudra publishes original scientific articles presenting empirical research, theoretical and conceptual studies, and research-based community service activities in maritime science, technology, and related disciplines.

    The journal welcomes interdisciplinary contributions that support scientific advancement, technological development, operational efficiency, safety, sustainability, and human resource development in the maritime sector.

    The journal's focus and scope encompass, but are not limited to, the following areas:

    1. Maritime Safety and Security: Maritime safety management, navigation safety, accident prevention, risk assessment, maritime security, and regulatory compliance.

    2. Ship Operations and Navigation Technology: Ship navigation systems, vessel operations, maritime communication, ship handling, and operational performance.

    3. Marine Engineering and Machinery Technology: Marine propulsion systems, ship machinery, maintenance engineering, energy efficiency, and marine mechanical systems.

    4. Marine Electrical and Electronic Technology: Shipboard electrical systems, marine electronics, automation, instrumentation, control systems, and electrical energy management.

    5. Maritime Information and Communication Technology: Maritime information systems, digital navigation, communication networks, maritime digitalization, and information technology applications in shipping operations.

    Selamat datang di laman prosiding resmi Seminar Nasional Inovasi dan Teknologi Maritim yang diselenggarakan oleh Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya.

    Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Maritim adalah jurnal ilmiah yang berfokus pada pengabdian masyarakat yang berhubungan dengan sektor maritim dan kelautan. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menjadi wadah bagi para peneliti, akademisi, praktisi, dan pihak terkait lainnya untuk berbagi hasil penelitian, inovasi, dan penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat pesisir dan nelayan, serta mendukung keberlanjutan ekosistem laut.

    JANGKAR menyambut artikel-artikel yang mengangkat berbagai isu dan solusi terkait dengan pengembangan sumber daya manusia, teknologi kelautan, pendidikan maritim, konservasi laut, dan kebijakan maritim yang berorientasi pada kesejahteraan masyarakat. Melalui publikasi ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta sinergi antara dunia akademis, industri maritim, dan masyarakat pesisir dalam rangka menciptakan kemajuan di bidang kelautan dan memperkuat pembangunan maritim nasional.
